Everything begins in 1991: David plants the first vines, joined a few years later by Emmanuelle. They embark together on years of passionate work to develop a vineyard in Cerseuil, Troissy, and Bouquigny. The vineyard continues to grow until David’s tragic accident in 2014.
At that moment, the winegrowers of Cerseuil and Troissy offered invaluable support to Emmanuelle. She was at this time the mother of two young daughters. This solidarity proved to be crucial to the survival of the vineyard. Since 2015, Emmanuelle has been running the vineyard on her own. In 2020, she began vinifying a part of her harvest to create the cuvée “Les Tournesols de Bouquigny”.
It is vital to remember where we come from, but even more so to remember the hand that reached out to us.
To this day, the cuvée "Les Coquelicots de Cerseuil" continues to be produced in collaboration with the small group of Cerseuil winegrowers who supported Emmanuelle in 2014.
Terroir
Our terroir is predominantly composed of Meunier, with a few parcels of Chardonnay.

The vines are planted on clay-limestone soils overlooking the left bank of the Marne Valley. The parcels lie on steep slopes, fully south-facing, with shallow soils.
